
I happened to be watching more reruns of Good Eats. The episode I caught was “House of the Rising Bun”, in which Alton Brown laid out the process for making cinnamon rolls and ginger citrus rolls. I had never made cinnamon rolls before. I therefore decided to try my hand at his recipe.

These turned out really well! The dough making process was relatively simple, the forming of the rolls was fun, and I enjoyed the end product. The time commitment is a little greater for these that other baked goods (they are, after all, labeled “overnight” rolls) but if you plan ahead, I’d say they are well worth the effort.
